Philip Brown L.Ac. M.Ac. 845-943-7644
What sets me apart from other acupuncturists is my training and my mission. I graduated from the TAI/Sophia Institute in Laurel MD in 1997. Our school was the first accredited acupuncture college in the US. The training I received there included not only a through grounding in traditional chinese medicine (TCM), but a primary focus on a style of acupuncture known as Five Element Acupuncture. In addition to acupuncture, I also use moxibustion (the application of the herb mugwort to the skin to heat an acupuncture point), chinese cupping (glass cups that are applied to the skin creating suction) and electro-acupuncture as needed.
I have been in private practice for 17 years. I also incorporate zero balancing, tuina(a massage like technique from China) and cranio-sacral therapy into my work when called for in both my private practice and at the Omega Institute Wellness Center where I have worked since 2009.
Acupuncture is great for all types of chronic problems including fertility issues, cancers, depression, musculo-skeletal, anxiety, weight gain, addictions like smoking and many other concerns.
My mission is to help as many people as I can to achieve a higher level of wellness.
If you have a concern, please give me a call. I can help you!
I do house calls !
